Textiles are an essential part of upscale restaurants and have many applications which are about to be discussed. For example, the first thing that a guest does upon entering the restaurant is stepping on a floor, scraper or logo mat outside of the door. In a lot of cases this is a washable floor mat that has a textile fabric attached to the rubber bottom part! Furthermore, that's just the beginning now the journey beings on why hospitality textiles fit so well with restaurants.

Napkins:

Cloth napkins come in many colors, but mostly people like white, black, burnt orange, yellow, red, blue, ivory, pink, olive, mustard navy, green, teal, sea foam, gold, and silver/gray napkins. These can make a statement. For example, say you're at a fine restaurant on the coat they might have teal or seafoam napkin for the ambiance of the establishment being on the water! Furthermore, napkins come in different materials such as polyester, spun polyester, cotton, Egyptian cotton, momie cotton, and cotton/polyester blends. Furthermore, the best and most popular fabric is constructed by Milliken who has sever patents on their fabrics including soil release and color retention. Furthermore, their napkins can be washed 300+ instances in an industrial or commercial laundry.

Table Linens:

These are essential in high end restaurants, hotels, country clubs and more, these are composed out of the aforementioned fabrics and come in square, rectangular as well as circular dimensions. The cotton, polyester or blended fabrics can be held together well in an industrial wash, but recommend that you buy your own commercial or heavy duty washing machine and dryer to cut costs instead of renting these from a uniform rental company.  The round table linens help customers converse well and nobody is sitting at the head of the table to pick up the check! Furthermore, placemats and overlays can help set the tone at fine dining establishments as well as buttonhole napkins.

Aprons:

These are popular among servers with the waist apron to kitchen workers in the back with bib or bistro napkins. Bib's offer excellent coverage and help protect employees from grease, steam or other workplace hazards. Bistro napkins are usually longer and excellent for kitchen workers in the back. Textiles Depot provides these three aprons as well as bulk aprons that people can wear while BBQing at cook offs!

Chef Attire:

This can range from chef coats, frocks, pants, smocks and be composted of cotton, cotton/polyester or spun polyester that's soft to the touch like cotton but lasts quite a big longer. In addition, you don't want your staff to be over heated or under protected especially in certain kitchens where there's flames and grease.  Chef coats are regularly worn with double breasted pockets which can aide this hard-working kitchen staff. This allows for their clothes to not get stained or tainted because of the protection of these coats, smocks, and frocks. In addition, the smocks and frocks are used by bakers or pastry chefs who need extra freedom and movement. The choice of fabric of the smock or frock depends on the environment that she's in.
